In my quest for looking for the perfect apartment The Berkshire is in my top 5, the only thing that’s taking away that 5th star is the lack of a washer and dryer in unit. There’s a nice laundry facility downstairs but it can become inconvenient overtime. Overall it is a good community to live in. It’s conveniently located near uptown. Management and maintenance are very responsive, all of my requests were handled within 24 hours. It’s generally quiet but when the weekend rolls around you should expect a little bit of commotion. The building is cleaned on a daily basis. Parking maybe a struggle once in a blue moon but there’s generally enough parking. The pool is on the smaller side but it appears to be clean and I’ve also heard its heated… I’ve never made use of the pool. It is hard to come across a well maintained property in the Baltimore area, the Berkshire definitely goes above and beyond for their tenants. If you’re considering moving here you should definitely come have a look, don’t let the outside deceive you.

Thank you for working so hard to resolve my issues Michelle-I appreciate the effort you put forth to come up with a satisfactory arrangement. I hope your company appreciates your hard work.

These people are only out to take your money. The staff gives you the run around and never a straight answer. They play games and try to twist words. In my dealings they have been very dishonest and I would think twice about renting here.
I tried to assist a person who was down and out and trying to rebuild their life. This was the type of person who’s track record showed that they could not be trusted with cash. I personally handed the property manager a check for the security deposit and asked her, «Because of this person’s track record, what happens if they don’t come up with the move in money by their move in date?» She replied, «Then you get your deposit back.»
As anticipated the person did not move in and when I inquired about my deposit, which I have a receipt for, I was told, «The money will be returned to the tenant.» Way to go lady! I visited you in person as to not place $ 300 in the hands of a person with dependency issues.

I imagine things have come a long way since 2009… I spent 18 months looking for a great place to live and now I found it! Great location, I can walk anywhere. The very best management team around, especially since Michelle got here a few months ago. Sharon B & Marlene are incredible. Virginia, Will, Veronica, Maria… all so nice. The renovation makes it the best though. Now if only the bathrooms were larger & there were a door man & in-unit W/D…it would be purrfect! Nevertheless, for Towson, this is great. The views are splendid, only noise really is the trash trucks and street cleaner at the mall, convenient to the best stops in Towson.
Update: Pool soon to be heated!

When I think about living in a cute renovated high rise in downtown Towson, the word nightmare never came to mind… well not until I moved into the Berkshires at Town Center.
The staff lacks knowledge and training. They don’t coordinate between them. They have messed up more times than I can count when it comes to our payments. Not to mention for the most part they are all unfriendly, this coupled with inability leads to disaster in and of its self.
The building is older and for reasons beyond me everything is always breaking down. We have been without an elevator for over two months and I’ve woken up to no hot water more times than I can keep track of.
The one good thing is that the apartments are nearly soundproof so I can’t hear my annoying neighbors and they cant hear me.
