Are you allowed to take photos in Planet Fitness? ›

You may not take any photographs or videos. No selling or marketing is allowed to other members while in our clubs. The use of all Planet Fitness logos is prohibited without consent. Junior member's free access benefit, which is associated with the main membership, will end on their 18th birthday.

Planet Fitness does not discriminate against transgender individuals, allowing them to use the locker room that corresponds with their gender identity. "Members and team members will be treated according to their self-reported gender identity," the policy on the gym's website says.

No Privacy in Public Places

Since most gyms are accessible to the public, it is not a violation of privacy laws to record someone in a gym's common area. Typically the law does not prohibit watching or photographing activities that are outside a person's reasonable expectation of privacy.

Security cameras span the entire interior and exterior of each gym. This provides the Planet Fitness Franchisee with comprehensive visibility, decreased liability, and peace of mind.
